Chongqing FAO Meeting with China Media Group (Chongqing)

On March 19, Zhang Yaxi, Deputy Director-General of Chongqing FAO, met with Wu Fang, Deputy Director of China Media Group (Chongqing), and her delegation, exchanging insights on new cooperation opportunities.

Zhang Yaxi extended her gratitude to CMG (Chongqing) for its efforts in the opening up, exchanges, and cooperation of Chongqing in the past year. CMG (Chongqing) was deeply involved in and released an array of high-quality news reports about foreign affairs events in Chongqing. Specifically, it offered generous support and provided comprehensive coverage of these significant events, such as the 140th anniversary of the birth of General Stilwell, visits paid by veterans of the Flying Tigers and their family members, and the 2023 China-CELAC Digital Technology Cooperation Forum. Zhang Yaxi also briefed Chongqing FAOs 2024 plan for significant foreign affairs events. She hoped that CMG (Chongqing) could support, as always, Chongqings foreign affairs work and help Chongqing FAO in public communication as it works for the strategic objective of serving Chinas overall diplomatic endeavor, national strategies, and open economy and moving faster towards the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China.

Wu Fang noted that CMG (Chongqing) would enhance cooperation with Chongqing FAO in the report of the new highlights, changes, and fruits of Chongqings foreign affairs work in serving Chinas diplomacy, facilitating Chinas national strategies and enhancing international cooperation from a wider perspective and more dimensions. All these endeavors will show the confidence, openness, and new image of the New Chongqing through more featured news coverage.

3月19日，市政府外辦副主任張婭茜與中央廣播電視總臺重慶總站副站長吳方一行交流座談，探討合作新機遇。

張婭茜感謝中央廣播電視總臺重慶總站去年聚焦重慶對外開放交流合作，深度參與重慶外事活動新聞報道工作，推出了一批高質量外事新聞報道，特別是史迪威將軍誕辰140周年紀念活動、飛虎隊老兵及后代訪渝活動、2023中國—拉美和加勒比國家數字技術合作論壇等重要外事活動，總臺重慶總站都給予了大力支持和深度報道。同時，通報了2024年重慶外事重要活動安排，希望總臺重慶總站一如既往關注支持重慶外事工作，為重慶外事聚焦服務國家總體外交、服務國家重大戰略、服務開放型經濟發展、加快建設中西部國際交往中心戰略目標提供有力輿論支持。

吳方表示，總臺重慶總站將與市政府外辦進一步加強合作，共同策劃，從更廣的角度和更多的維度宣傳報道重慶外事在服務國家總體外交、助力國家戰略、加強國際合作中展現的新亮點、新變化、新成果，展示現代化新重慶的自信和開放，用更多精品力作展現現代化新重慶建設新面貌。
