Small Actions Are of Great Help

To make the world a better place， it is necessary for us teenagers to take somesmall actions. As a saying goes，“The roses in her hand， the flavor in mine.”

On the one hand， we should be kind to others. We can take part in volunteeractivities. For example， we could volunteer to visit the old peoples home to lookafter the old people. Because caring for old people is our Chinese tradition. Wecould help old people clean the room， wash the clothes， and read newspapers. Wecould also help to cheer up the sick kids in the hospital by telling stories andsinging for them. I can get such a strong feeling of satisfaction when I see the kidsget better and the look of joy on their faces.

On the other hand， the earth is our home. We should take good care of theearth. To protect it， we can do some small actions， such as turning off the lightbefore leaving a room and turning off the tap in time. It is a good habit for us to savewater and electricity. At the same time， we could plant more trees. And we shouldcare for animals， because they are humansfriends.

In my opinion， volunteering is meaningful. If we try our best to take more smallactions， the world will be better and better.
