巴士一汽停車庫改造項目自改造完成作為同濟大學建筑設計研究院辦公樓已投入使用10 余年，歷經歲月磨礪仍不斷煥發出新的生命力。項目原為3 層停車場，改造設計始于2009 年，是當時上海乃至全國最早的大型汽車庫改造項目之一，也是最早的大規模光伏建筑一體化設計的建筑實踐之一。設計強調“形式追隨功能”，沒有任何多余構件，最大的挑戰在于如何運用現代設計手法將“機器使用”的場所重新營造成為“人使用”的場所。

Renovation of the Parking Garage of Bus No.1 has been completed and has served as the TJAD office building for more than 10 years.Despite years of trials and tribulations,it continues to radiate new vitality.The project was originally a three-storey parking lot,and the renovation design began in 2009.It was one of the earliest large-scale garage renovation projects in Shanghai and even in China at that time,and one of the earliest architectural practices of large-scale photovoltaic integrated building design.The design emphasises "form follows function" without any unnecessary components,and the biggest challenge is how to use modern design techniques to recreate a place "used by machines " into a place "used by people ".
