No Smoking

Today I saw a piece of news in the newspaper that a middle school student was put into prison for stealing money. It wasnt a big thing， but it did surprise me. He said he did so only for buying cigarettes.

As is known to us all， smoking too much is bad for our health， especially for teenagers. It does great harm not only to our bodies， but also to our minds. For smokers， it is a waste of money， and causes all kinds of diseases. Whats more， many fires are caused by careless smokers.

Today， more and more people begin to know about the harm of smoking. Some of them have given up smoking and others say its hard to give it up but they will try their best to do so. If you are not a smoker， dont start.

We middle school students are the builders of the motherland in the future. Now we should put our hearts into study， make greater progress and form good life habits. As to the young smokers， they should take actions and make up their minds to give up smoking at once.

請勿吸煙

今天在報紙上看到一則新聞：一名中學生因為偷錢而被送進監獄。雖說這不是一件重大的事，但確實讓我大吃一驚。他說他這樣做只是為了買煙。

眾所周知，過度吸煙有害于健康，對青少年尤其如此。吸煙不僅對我們的身體造成嚴重傷害，而且也會對我們的心理造成嚴重危害。對于吸煙者來說，這不僅浪費金錢，還會導致各種疾病的發生，另外，許多火災也是由粗心的吸煙者引起的。

今天，越來越多的人開始認識到吸煙的危害性。他們中有的人已經戒了煙，有的人說戒煙很難，但他們會盡力而為。倘若你還不是一個吸煙者，那就不要嘗試。

我們中學生是祖國未來的建設者，當下應該集中精力學習，日益進步，養成良好的生活習慣。至于那些年輕的吸煙者們，他們應該行動起來，下定決心馬上戒煙。
