摘 要:海洋微生物,日益成為新穎次級代謝產物發現的理想資源。該課題在前期研究基礎的基礎上,繼續進行抗菌、抗腫瘤和抗污損等結構新穎、活性獨特的次級代謝產物的挖掘,同時開展這些化合物的生物合成機制研究,揭示酶學機理,提出次級代謝產物生物合成途徑的分子和化學模型,進而利用組合生物學技術擴展其結構多樣性,為獲得具有自主知識產權的創新藥物提供物質基礎。

Study on Secondary Metabolites Biosynthesis of Marine Microbiology

Abstract:Marine microorganisms,are emerging as ideal resources for discovering new taxa and new secondary metabolites. Encouraging from our solid research data accumulated previously, we aim in this project to continuously isolate and identify new metabolites and to demonstrate their functions, such as antimicrobial, anti-fouling and anti-tumor, etc. In addition, we aim to elucidate the biosynthetic gene clusters so as to reveal their biosynthetic mechanisms and pathways, to enhance their structural diversity via combinatorial biosynthesis. The ultimate goal of this project is to provide a basis for discovering lead compounds with pharmaceutical potential.
